Gordon James Construction

A kitchen in a home built by Gordon James Construction shows a large wooden dining table set adjacent to a center island with a marble countertop. The surrounding cabinetry and appliances are white and stainless steel, a large, ornate hood peers out of the wall over the stove.

Our background:

Gordon James Construction has been in business since 2005. The owners, John Quinlivan and Joe McPherson, are active in the local community and know they'll continue to interact with customers long after they move into their new homes. Among our 10 employees, we have over 150 years of combined experience in the construction industry. The team at Gordon James Construction believes that organized planning and execution are the most critical parts of the building process. Through our intense focus on the details, we have established a diverse portfolio of custom homes for the most discerning clients.

“The team demonstrates integrity, extreme attention to detail, and a willingness to create your home the way you envision it. They organize their subcontract labor so that once you break ground, there are no work stoppages until the project is completed. I believe this is rare in the industry.”

Our edge:

Gordon James Construction provides exceptional quality and exceptional service under the guiding principle of “You Dream. We Deliver.”  Each of our custom homes reflect the unique style of its owner. We “build each home before we build it” in our preconstruction planning process to ensure all details are buttoned down, selections are finalized, and the design is approved. We then construct our homes following rigid standards of craftsmanship—on time and on budget.
