Rick Hendel graduated from Bethel University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He worked part-time as a carpenter while pursuing medical school, mainly focusing on high-end residential construction business projects. He soon discovered that he loved the architectural details, creativity, and problem-solving involved in building custom projects. This led to a change in his career path 19 years ago. He never looked back. Rick’s wife, Amy, a fellow Bethel grad, not only heads up the marketing department at Hendel Homes, but also adds valuable design expertise to the process. Rick and Amy’s work has been featured in national publications throughout the country.

Quality, integrity, value:

Over the years, Hendel Homes has built a reputation as a trusted name in the community. They offer a personal approach to the highest quality and value in custom home projects.

Keys to success:

Our process and our product make us noticeably different. The level of quality and finishes vary from builder to builder. A strong building company must understand high-end products and understand how to carefully implement those details. Through effective and frequent communication, we educate our clients on the process ahead of time and help guide them through our phases of construction.

Memorable request:

We were asked to design a gun range with a secret tunnel
as an escape route connecting to the house.

The Hendel Homes advantage:

A builder who leads the construction process, communicates strongly, implements quality, understands architecture, and delivers beautiful design.
