Ginny Sims Artist Conversation:
Join Minneapolis-based ceramic artist Ginny Sims for tea and an artist conversation at Lacuna Gallery to discuss her current show, No Creature Loves an Empty Space. In her most recent work, Sims explores English tableware and factory ware from the 17th century to today, and plays with how these objects inhabit their surroundings with meaning—and how their surroundings project meaning onto them. The objects on display question what it means to be an object and offer a reflection of current political and social themes. Gather & Plant: Botanical Easter Centerpiece Workshops:

This annual show returns to the Minneapolis Convention Center for two weekends, with home and garden vendors, decorating and gardening tips and trend presentations from interior designers, gardens on display, a floral design competition, a tiny home village, and a staged idea home.
