Not everyone has the opportunity to turn their hobby into a business—Kerry Brooks was one of the lucky ones. She started experimenting with the fusion of glass and pottery, each piece evoking a sensation of nature. Soon, she found there was a market for her art. Today, she runs a unique studio creating both decorative and functional pottery, employing artisans across multiple disciplines. Making upwards of 30,000 coasters a month, a little piece of Minnesota is found in stores around the globe.
